This one’s a psychedelic journey that draws on a number of genres, from psychedelic to industrial to classic stoner – or in short, Khan. The Australians from Melbourne forge long drawn-out riffs that lead you through one soundscape to the other, sometimes gliding along quietly, accompanied by a gentle voice, clear chords and smooth bass, sometimes slightly melancholic. But then there are also the rolling stoner riffs that part of the band’s repertoire just as well, distorted, raw, screaming guitars on hard drum beats, with an echoing voice that screams into the distance. The band has proven this on 3 released albums, and from the end of 2024 they will be working on the fourth album with these epic, almost theatrical contrasts that resonate so well listening to them. We are looking forward to the new album at the 2025 festival.
