Osees

The band from Los Angeles plays a mix of psychedelia, garage rock, krautrock and even folk – wild, isn’t it? The band around mastermind John Dwyer understands the craft of dynamic songwriting like no other. A lot of wacky sounds are mixed with passages that are familiar from all kinds of styles. However, the premise often remains the same: it always goes round and forwards, no compromises. The band has proven this on more than 20 studio albums. But wait, that’s not all, because the band also puts on a live performance that’s a real treat. All in all, you can expect fat bass lines, drums that keep pushing forward, scratchy and melodic guitars and even the odd saxophone here and there. According to the band, Dwyer also devoted himself to psychedelic avant-jazz sounds in 2021, and then even ventured into creations in the style of earlier hardcore punk bands. You can already tell that you can expect an absolutely wild and unique band at Festival 2025. We’re already in the mood for this with their albums SORCS80 (2024) and A Foul Form (2022), which play you against the wall with ease – without us being bothered by it.
