This year, The Cosmic Dead will blast their version of space rock around our ears, right into your frontal lobe – or “Scottish Space Race”, as the band from Glasgow aptly describes it. Whirring, long intros meet lots of effects pedals and psychedelic waves of feedback, hard bass and repetitive rhythm that drives everything forward. Just the thing for those 20-minute tracks, many of which you can listen to on the 9 albums the band has released so far. Since their formation in 2010, TCD has not only put on a properly accentuated space trip but has also played on many stages. We are extremely keen to hear this space sound on our meadow.
