Krach am Bach Awareness
The Krach am Bach Festival is not only about good music, but also about good community spirit. To ensure that all visitors, helpers, artists and crew members feel comfortable, we rely on a strong awareness concept.
What does this mean for us?
For us, awareness means being mindful – towards ourselves and others. We want to create a space where discrimination, boundary violations, harassment and violence have no place. Everyone should feel safe and be able to enjoy the festival – regardless of gender, origin, sexual orientation, physical or mental condition.
Our awareness team
A trained awareness team will be there for you throughout the festival. You can recognise us by our purple vests and feel free to approach us at any time – whether you are affected yourself, have observed something or simply want to talk. We will listen to you, take you seriously and support you confidentially.
What we offer:
- On-site contact persons – visible, empathetic, accessible, also available by mobile phone on +4915755855907 during the festival days.
- Retreat areas – if you need a break or feel uncomfortable
- Clear stance – zero tolerance towards discriminatory or abusive behavior
- Raising awareness – through workshops, information materials, and presence on site
IMPORTANT! Awareness thrives on participation. Be attentive, respectful, and show solidarity. Ask questions before taking photos or touching someone. Listen when someone tells you about a problem. And: Ask for help if you feel someone needs support.
Together for a better festival
Let’s work together to ensure that Krach am Bach remains a place where everyone can freely express themselves – loud, wild, colorful, and safe.
Awareness is not a trend – awareness is a stance.
ACCEPT BOUNDARIES!
Because only yes means yes!
Whether touching, kissing or buying drinks, ask for consent first. Respect begins with asking.
NOT EVERYTHING IS A COMPLIMENT!
Unsolicited comments about someone’s body, clothing or appearance? Don’t do it. That’s also crossing a line.
BE MINDFUL OF YOUR LANGUAGE!
Sexist, racist, ableist or queerphobic terms have no place here.
Language can connect people – or hurt them. Choose your words carefully.
LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER!
Have you noticed something strange or does someone need help?
Don’t look away – talk to us or contact the awareness team.
CONSUME CONSCIOUSLY!
Whether it’s alcohol or other substances – take responsibility for yourself and your friends.
If you have any questions, the Awareness Team is there for you.
TAKE PHOTOS RESPECTFULLY!
Don’t take unsolicited photos of strangers’ faces.
And don’t post anything without consent. Privacy also applies when partying.
CELEBRATE TOGETHER!
Everyone should feel comfortable, free and safe – regardless of their appearance, gender or orientation.
Let’s celebrate together. In solidarity. Considerately. Loudly.
