With Feedy from Oldenburg, we have a visitor from the neighborhood to Festival 2025. The band also stands out in other ways, because they throw everything from post-metal to jazzcore to noise rock into the mix – and it sounds damn good. “Pure structure in total derangement” is how the band describes their own style, and you can hear that. They often switch from very loud and lots of volume to very quiet, sometimes delicate, slow and careful, from one beat to the next, until loud snare rolls and guitar screeching wake you up from a trance-like state and throw you straight back into the mix of increasing riffs. The band understands incredibly well how to combine and reconcile these extremes and smash together almost hypnotizing compositions. Just listen to it for yourself – their album Xxn Vldz (2024) goes down well, we think.
